Port Renfrew is a stunning 2-hour drive from Victoria, BC. This scenic route has several vistas of the Juan de Fuca Strait and Olympic Mountains. If you have time, there are fantastic places to stop along the way.

If you are coming from up-island (North of Mill Bay) The Pacific Marine Circle Route linking Port Renfrew to Lake Cowichan was recently paved and is an interesting tour through the working forests of Vancouver Island. Be on the lookout for bears and huge Roosevelt Elk on the way in.

During the summer months, there is Gas/Diesel available in Port Renfrew. During the winter however, you will need to plan your fuel usage, and bring extra as required, as fuel may not be available.
